Date range and comparing

Selecting a Date Range

1. Navigate to the Date Range Selector

Log in to and go to the relevant site dashboard. At the top of the dashboard, locate the "Date Range" selector on the right side.

2. Open the Date Range Dropdown

Click on the "Date Range" dropdown to open the date range menu.

3. Select the Desired Date Range

In the date range menu, you can select predefined ranges such as "Last 7 Days", "Last 30 Days", or "This Month". Alternatively, you can select a custom date range by choosing the start and end dates from the calendar.

4. Apply the Date Range

Once you have selected the desired date range, the dashboard will update to display data for that specific period.

Comparing Periods

1. Navigate to the Date Range Selector

Locate the "Compare" in the dropdown menu.

2. Open the Compare Range Dropdown

Choose the period you want to compare against the selected date range. Options may include "Previous Period", "Previous Year", or custom comparison periods. In the screenshot, the "Previous Period" is selected for comparison.

3. Apply the Comparison

After selecting the comparison period, the dashboard will display the data for both the current period and the comparison period. The data for the selected period will be shown alongside the data for the comparison period, allowing you to analyze trends and performance changes. The graph will show the current period's data in one color (e.g., blue) and the comparison period's data in another color (e.g., orange).

Analyzing the Data

1. Review Key Metrics

Key metrics such as revenue, visitors, average day revenue, and average order value are displayed for both the selected period and the comparison period.

2. Analyze Graph Data

The main graph displays daily data points for both periods, making it easy to compare trends over time. Hover over the data points on the graph to see detailed information for specific dates. Use the notes feature to correlate significant events with changes in performance.
